Flights
To get to Alaia, you will need to fly to Padang (PDG) in West Sumatra.
Padang can be reached via Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, or Jakarta.
Direct flights from Singapore are available on selected days with Scoot, while AirAsia operates flights from Kuala Lumpur. From Jakarta, there are multiple daily options with Garuda Indonesia, Super Air Jet, Citilink, Sriwijaya Air, and Lion Air.
We recommend arriving in Padang one day before your check-in date at Alaia and booking your departure flight for one day after check-out. This allows extra time in case weather or sea conditions affect boat transfers.

Transportation
Once you arrive in Padang, our logistics team will take care of your transportation to and from Alaia.
Your transportation package includes airport and hotel pick-up/drop-off in Padang, as well as return private speedboat transfers between Padang and Alaia.
You just need to arrange your flights to Padang — we’ll take care of the rest.

Hotel in Padang
We recommend staying one night in Padang before and after your Alaia trip to allow a comfortable buffer around your flights and boat transfers.
We can arrange accommodation at some of the best hotels in Padang at our corporate rates. Santika Premiere and Mercure are our most popular options, with Amaris also available as an alternative.
Payment is made directly to the hotel at check-in. Alaia does not charge any booking or service fee — we simply assist with the reservation to make your journey to and from Alaia as smooth as possible.

Padang - Alaia

On the morning of your trip, our logistics team will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the harbour, where our private speedboat will be waiting.
From Padang, it is approximately a 3–3.5 hour boat ride directly to Alaia, depending on sea and weather conditions.
Our team will handle your luggage and transportation throughout the journey, making your arrival at Alaia as easy as possible.

Passport
Please make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from the date you enter Indonesia.
Visa on Arrival (VOA)
Eligible travellers can apply for an Indonesian e-VOA (Electronic Visa on Arrival) online before travelling, helping make the immigration process on arrival easier.

RENTAL LOG
We know these days a lots of flights does not accept longboards. Don't worry we have some longboard rentals available at ALAIA for our guests.
Available sizes are from 9'0 to 9'6'
mostly PU single fin. If you are thinking about rental one of our longboards, please contact us for availability. However we do not have much spare leash codes, please bring your own leashes and wax.

up to 11 nights / from US$300 per board per person.
up to 21 nights / from US$450 per board per person
Daily Rate / US$35 per board per person.
